As much as I love music, yoga, community, and so many things in this world, I love food! From the ingredients to the preparation to the serving to the eating, I am inspired by fresh and local specialties along with the culinary influences from my family and my travels. The perfect day for me cannot pass without a home cooked meal shared by friends. While I love to indulge in rich, flavor-packed dishes, I also have a deep reverence for health and love to challenge myself to make delicious recipes without butter or cheese (something I previously thought was impossible, before embarking on the Whole 30 for the first time). I like to know every last ingredient that I put into my body, and aspire to incorporate great taste, balance, beauty, and health into every meal I prepare. From soups to sushi, pizza to vegan pasta, and even carnitas, it all sounds delicious to me!
